I've finally found some time to start a blog for Luke. The past 6 1/2 weeks have been pretty hectic as having 2 boys to look after have been full on. Reuben has taken to Luke straight away and yells out "Hi Luke!" each morning as well as giving him pats on the head like the family dog.
Luke weighed in at 4.56kg (9lb10oz) and was 52cm long. He has since gained over 1kg in weight at 10cm in length! He's off the charts for height, so I think the Spiker genes have surfaced once again.
The past few weeks have seen Luke get Reuben's cold (3 weeks old) and then Rota virus which decimated all the immediate family! Reuben's bum is still getting a workout and poor old Lukew ended up in hospital. He had a nasal gastric drip, IV drip, ultra sounds and x rays done. He bellowed through the lot with smiles inbetween- what a trooper!
The next couple of days had Grandma, Grandad, Mum and Dad all dying with the same thing- give me 2 weeks of the flu anytime!
